Data Deletion Instructions
Request deletion of your GuestLoop data
GuestLoop is operated by Stanbro LLC.
If you have interacted with GuestLoop or with a Participating Business using GuestLoop and would like to request deletion of personal information associated with you, you may submit a request by emailing: email@guestloop.app
Use the subject: GuestLoop Data Deletion Request
Information to include
Please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant GuestLoop account or records. This may include:
- your name;
- the telephone number or email address associated with your GuestLoop membership;
- the name of the Participating Business whose GuestLoop programme you joined; and
- a brief description of the information you would like deleted.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, PINs or other sensitive authentication credentials by email.
Verification
We may need to verify your identity before processing a deletion request in order to protect your information from unauthorized deletion.
We will request only the information reasonably necessary to perform that verification.
Requests involving a Participating Business
GuestLoop is used by independent Participating Businesses to operate loyalty programmes and related customer services.
Where GuestLoop processes information on behalf of a Participating Business, we may need to coordinate your request with that business.
The Participating Business may also have independent legal or operational obligations concerning information associated with its transactions or customer relationship.
Information that may need to be retained
A deletion request does not necessarily require deletion of every record immediately.
Some information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for:
- security and fraud prevention;
- transaction or accounting records;
- maintaining appropriate audit records;
- resolving disputes;
- complying with legal or regulatory obligations; or
- establishing, exercising or defending legal rights.
Where appropriate, information that no longer needs to identify you may instead be anonymized.
After your request
Once an applicable deletion request has been verified and processed, information eligible for deletion will be deleted or anonymized as appropriate.
GuestLoop cannot delete information independently held by third-party services, including Meta or WhatsApp. Requests concerning information independently controlled by those services should be made through the relevant provider.
